Testimony
Jason Gastrich was born in 1974 to a Christian family in San Diego, California. His parents moved to El Cajon, so they could attend Shadow Mountain Community Church, receive spiritual instruction from David Jeremiah, and rear Jason with quality, Christian education.
While attending Bostonia Christian Elementary School, Jason trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He was only 7 years old, but he knew enough to admit that he was a sinner and needed forgiveness, redemption, and salvation from Jesus Christ.
In the summer of 1997, Jason heard a sermon by a guest speaker named Bruce Wilkinson. His life and his ministry would never be the same.
Bruce challenged the audience to pray the following prayer for 30 days: "Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me, and keep me from evil." Jason met his challenge and it was no surprise that Jesus Christ Saves Ministries was birthed during that time. Incidentally, several years later, Bruce wrote a book called "The Prayer of Jabez" that highlighted this same prayer and it sold over 9 million copies.
In 1997, JCSM began as one web page on the internet. Jason was excited to have 5 people visit. In addition to the web page, Jason ministered to hurting people in AOL chat rooms and began a mailing list to send encouraging emails to them.
Today, Jesus Christ Saves Ministries is one of the largest ministries in the world. JCSM has over 200,000 web pages on the internet and a very large mailing list of subscribers in over 100 different countries. In an average week, over 15,000 people visit JCSM's web pages.
Dr. Gastrich serves the Lord through Jesus Christ Saves Ministries. He has used the internet to reach people that do not attend church, people that need more than they get from church, and people who are just hungry for the truth of God's Word. Please see JCSM's main page for a list of web pages and ministries that are designed to bless you.
Today, Dr. Gastrich lives in San Diego, California where he operates JCSM and teaches private and classroom music lessons. He is an author, lecturer, musician, and the founder and director of Jesus Christ Saves Ministries. He has a wonderful wife named Sarine and a beautiful daughter named Jordan.
