JCSM's Vision - Ministry Endeavors and Needs

Jesus Christ Saves Ministries is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Since we began in 1997, JCSM has reached over 3 million people with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ! The good news has reached people from all walks of life in over 100 different countries. In some cases, it has been well received and people have repented and trusted, believed and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal, Lord and Savior! Hallelujah! In other cases, people have rejected it and sent us harsh words.

In addition to spreading the gospel, we have also enjoyed encouraging believers with our weekly devotions. These messages are a pleasure to write and send because they include powerful truths that are pertinent to our lives. We hope they’ve been encouraging to you. If you’ve missed any of them, we have over 450 devotional messages in our online archives!

Unlike many other ministries, JCSM is reaching people at all hours of the day and night! It’s awesome to see our web site’s hits tracker and realize that someone in Germany just read the gospel, a young man in Japan enjoyed a Bible lesson and a woman in India was encouraged. Plus, JCSM's web pages (over 200,000 of them!) get an astonishing number of visitors each day. All glory goes to God.

Despite everything we have done for the kingdom of God, there is still a lot more work to do! I’m compelled to continue spending countless hours each week doing kingdom work because God is so good and we may have only a short time before Jesus’ return. Here are some of the things we have done, the things we are doing, and the visions we have for this ministry and the future of JCSM.

1. Share the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have shared the gospel with over 3 million people! JCSM is sharing the only good news that will save us to more people each day. There are many risks with sharing the gospel with so many people, but this is what God has called us to do. Click here for the gospel message in text and audio formats!

JCSM receives over thousands of visitors each day and our site is highly ranked on Alexa.com's www ranking system. These numbers keep growing and we are happy to encourage more and more people with God's love. Glory to God.

2. Encourage and exhort people.

Every day, we receive numerous emails. Some people want to know about fasting. Some need counseling and encouragement. Others want to know about cults and religious movements. If you can imagine the subject, I've probably read it. It's my pleasure to receive these letters and respond with the truth in love. Click here to email us.

3. Write and send, record and broadcast our weekly devotional message.

Since 1997, I've composed a weekly devotional message and used it to encourage others. These messages are archived on our web site. See http://devos.jcsm.org and you can read them or subscriber.

Our devotions include paragraphs about new ministries and happenings, topical scriptures, some insight and a prayer, a challenge, quotes from one of America's founders, and the Moment of Introspection. They also include a Greek or Hebrew word of the week, an entry from my book (The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained), and the quotes of the week.

I also record and broadcast an audio devotional message. It's encouraging and unique and it is on the same topic as the text devotions. See http://ada.jcsm.org for our audio devotional archive.

4. Update and improve our web site.

We have changed every font to Arial and 14 point size and added our convenient, navigation bars, title graphics, meta tags and keywords, and JCSM’s copyright logo to all of our web pages. We want all of our web sites updated, professional, contemporary, and easy to read. These web pages are also constantly added to search engines, so they will receive a high ranking; which lets more people find them and get encouraged.

Right now, we are in the process of improving the title tags for higher search engine rankings. Many of our web pages are listed first (or at least in the top 10) with Google. Try typing "Jesus Christ pictures," "Elijah Bible lessons," "Abortion Bible lesson," or "Bible lessons anger" at http://google.com and you'll see what I mean. We give God all the glory for this as well.

5. Engage Christians in fellowship and debate unbelievers on JCSM's Discussion Boards.

The internet is home to thousands of discussion forums. Virtually every conceivable topic has its own forum. It's our pleasure to visit these forums and proclaim Jesus Christ. We frequently engage in conversations on internet forums; sharing the gospel with unbelievers and encouraging the believers in Jesus.

JCSM's Discussion Boards were launched on June 7, 2006. They're a great place to meet like-minded believers in Jesus. We even have boards for Christians-only. It's free and easy to register, so join us today!

The Internet Infidels Discussion Board is the largest atheist internet forum in the world. I've engaged in several formal debates on it. These debates have been viewed tens of thousands of times. Please pray for the atheists that read these debates. Pray for their salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus.

6. Send Bibles and books to needy people.

One of the biggest blessings for us was to send the Bible on audio cds to a ministry in India. They received the cds and have been able to use them to encourage poor people. We’ve also helped send Bibles to a prison and many other need people in the United States and abroad. We believe that putting the Word in the hands of people who need it is one of our biggest responsibilities.

Each month, JCSM gives a number of copies of The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained to people. We recognize the need to help the less fortunate in the area of apologetics and Bible study.

7. Advertise JCSM to the public.

JCSM has advertised in The National Liberty Journal, The Christian Times, Contemporary Christian Music Magazine, The San Diego Reader, The San Diego-Union Tribune, The Good News, Etc., and several other publications. We've also been featured on the K-Praise radio station, Meu Micro Magazine, and we've handed out printed, paper ads around San Diego. We want to advertise in Charisma Magazine, The London Times, The Jerusalem Post, The Los Angeles Times, and many other places. In addition to this kind of advertising, we want to make JCSM pens and color ads to give to people.

JCSM has also advertised on thousands of different web sites with Google Ads. In particular, we've been advertising our page on the Koran, where we expose some of its most sinister passages. This link is being visited by Muslims all over the world. We are currently advertising this page and several others through Google.

8. Get my latest book into as many hands as possible.

I've written a book called, "The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained." This e-book software (book on CD) clarifies over 3,000 Bible difficulties! It is an awesome resource for pastors, teachers, seekers, skeptics, etc. You can read more about it and even order it here: http://skepticsannotatedbible.org.

This book has been featured on a San Diego radio station, Meu Micro Magazine, Download.com (in the U.S., Italy, Germany, Asia, Australia, etc.), The Good News, Etc., ComputorEdge Magazine, at local churches, on Amazon.com and Half.com, etc. I've been sharing this book to church groups, church leaders, my Bible study group, the MAC (Missions, Apologetics and Creation Bible Conference - http://macsd.org), and many other places. We hope and pray this CD-ROM can encourage numerous people as it has been well-received all over the world.

The third edition of my book was released on January 1, 2004. In addition to the e-book, it contains the following resources: Strong's Greek and Hebrew Dictionary and Concordance, Easton's Bible Dictionary, Matthew Henry's Exhaustive Commentary, Nave's Topical Index, Torrey's Topical Index, and a Palm Pilot Edition! Over 1,000 amazing pictures (about 500 pictures from Israel and about 500 wild animal pictures) are also included with this CD. Kids and adults really enjoy them!

On March 1, 2004, The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained, The Collegiate Workbook was released. This workbook contains 300 fill-in, short answer, and essay questions. It is paper, bound, in full color, and has an answer key in the back. The workbook is a great companion to the e-book on CD-ROM. 9. Bless people with free email accounts through BelieveandRepent.com.

We all must believe and repent to be saved by Jesus Christ. JCSM has the domain name believeandrepent.com and we offer free and inexpensive email accounts. You can evangelize people with your domain name at absolutely not cost to you! The inexpensive accounts are for those with high bandwidth needs (e.g. those that store large files or lots of emails). Our free accounts offer more services than the major, free email providers!

These are ten of our current priorities and visions for ministry. Please pray for these endeavors. As you know, the Devil tries to thwart the plans and actions of God’s people. Determination to follow God’s calling will prevail, though.

We don’t request support for JCSM very often. We like to wait on God and hope for what He gives without trying to convict anyone to give. God’s Spirit is greater than us, so we stand aside and let God move. However, we do have a serious need and we're certain that we don’t mention it enough. We are praying and hoping that you will consider supporting JCSM's vision and the following ministry needs.

JCSM costs money to run. Here is a rundown of our primary expenses.

5) Compassion International donation: $100/month

All donations are tax deductible and go directly to JCSM. After JCSM's yearly expenses are paid, then I receive a limited salary for spending full time hours doing ministry through JCSM. However, like most reputable ministers, I have voluntarily given myself a salary cap. I'm not trying to get rich, I only want to serve the Lord. Pay raises must be approved by JCSM's Board of Directors.

Since my wife and I are missionaries to seeking souls, we must pay all of these things while we minister to hungry people. God has done great things for us, but we are still seeking loving Christians to pray for JCSM, give one-time donations, and support this ministry with monthly offerings.
