There are several reasons why I'm doing this fast. Here is a list of them.
1. To obey God by fasting to Him.
2. To participate in a "Daniel fast" by eating only fruits and vegetables.
3. To join the members in my church for this public, corporate fast
4. To cleanse my body of impurities and to obtain better health.
5. To engage in other activities that will be beneficial; these include:
a. Stretching for 15 minutes each day
b. Praying in my journal each day
c. Recording one worship song each day and uploading it to the web (see
http://jcsm.org/worshipsongs.htm)
