Day 1 - Dear Lord, bless me and this fast.  I pray that it goes very well.  Forgive my sins and purify me.  Help me to finish it without disobeying any of the guidelines I have set up.

Thank you for those that have joined me in this fast.  Bless them.  Help us to keep each other accountable.  Thank you for the friends that I have who love You.  Increase our love for You and for others.

Thank you for loving us more than we deserve.  Help us to emulate your love to others.

Remove the pain in my arm.  Reveal to me whether or not I should seek medical help and an operation.  Thank you for the doctor who told me that I may have ulnar tunnel syndrome.  I pray that you heal it completely.

Thank you for the great healings You have done.  Thank you for the unexplainable things that You have done in my life and in the lives of others.  Help me to remember them.

Praise You for being a mighty and powerful God.  Increase our faith in You.  Help us understand what You can do.

Bless those that are hurting and suffering because of the great tsunami.  Help them to recover and to survive.  Thank you for all of the very generous people who have given to them.  Let the world join together in supporting the hungry and homeless people; not just now, but always.

Thank you for the hungry and homeless people we have at home.  Help us to support them as well.  Remind us that when we have an opportunity to give right in front of us that You must have ordained it.  Help us to be sensitive to You and your Spirit.  Resensitize those that have been desensitized to pain and suffering.

Thank you for making JCSM a success.  Thank you for blessing this ministry immeasurably.  Help us to continue to do your will and to seek You.  Help us to listen to You and the way that You wish to take JCSM.  Praise You for blessing others through us, even through our imperfections.  Let this be a testimony to You and what You can do with imperfect people.

Thank you for the fruits and vegetables I can eat.  Thank you for the wide variety of them that are available to me.  Thank you for the juices, too.  Help me to rely on You and not to worry about the foods that I cannot eat.  Let me trust in your strength.

During this fast, reveal great things to me about You.  Show me more about your will and character.  Give me more vision for JCSM and more ways that I can reach people with your love.  Thank you for speaking to me whenever I can remain quiet.

Thank you for Christian music that encourages me.  Bless Christian artists.  Help them to write and record awesome music.  Bless them and their families.  Let them know that they mean to me and to other Christians.

Bless my music.  Help me to record the 21 songs during this fast.  Let me sing and play in key.  Thank you for the talents and skills that You have given me.  Let me use them for your glory and let me increase and hone them.  Praise You for being good and for giving me these gifts.

Thank you for my guitar students.  Bless them.  Increase their skills and help them to glorify You.  Give them vision for their gifts and show them where they should plug in, who they should play with, and where they will make a good impact for the cause of Christ.  Thank you that I get to know these great girls and guys who love You.  Thank you for their families that support me and them.  Bless them all.

Bless me tomorrow as I drove in the cold rain.  Help me to see clearly and help me to avoid an accident.  Thank you that I can obey the speed laws without regretting it and without being overcome by temptation.  Help other people to become safe by abiding by the speed laws.

Bless the atheist/evolutionist group I'll be visiting, tomorrow.  Help them to see the light and begin trusting You.  Give me discernment, so I can sense what is really going on there.  Let me read between the lines when people speak and give me looks, so I can understand their confusion, their curiosities, and their shackles.

If it's your will, let me discuss these things with one or even some of them.  Let me share what I know about You and the Bible.  If it's an appropriate place and time, then bless the conversation and let us edify one another and glorify You.  Show me other Christians who may be there.

Thank you that I get to visit the Christian book store, tomorrow.  Let me listen to some music and determine whether or not I should buy it and be blessed by it.  Thank you that Berean allows people to listen to CDs before they buy them.  Bless them and their ministry.  Thank you that I live in a country where I can visit a giant store with Christian cards, shirts, music, software, and much more!  You are a great God.

Day 2 - Dear Lord, thank you for today.  Thank you that I was safe today and had a good day.  Thank you that I stayed relatively dry in the wet weather.

Thank you that my fast is going well.  Thank you that I wasn't super hungry, today.  Thanks for the great variety of vegetables that I had like potatoes, carrots, and cucumber.  Thank you for the energy you gave me through the fruit shake.

Help me to continue to resist the temptation to eat other foods.  Thank you for the way that I could fight it off, today.  Keep empowering me.

Thank you for leading me to a great new CD at Berean, today.  Thank you for the way I could hear several CDs and buy the best one.  Bless Tree63.  Let them know what a blessing they are to their fans.

Thank you for my friends and my family.  Bless them and keep them safe.  Let us all grow in You.

Thank you that Don wants to baby sit Jordan on Thursday night.  I pray that everything goes well and that they have fun together.  Let Sarine and I have a fun time outside of the house.

Thank you for Jimi and how he has been learning the guitar.  Bless him and help him to continue practicing.  Thank you for his extraordinary growth and success.  Let my other students be as zealous about practicing and getting better.

Help Jimi to choose You and get to know You.  Thank you for the chance to be in his life and know him.  Thanks for his friendship.  Let me continue to find interesting music to teach him.  Help him to make some good recordings this week.

Thank you for the organization that contacted JCSM about getting something for their door prize.  I pray that they have a good conference.  Thanks for the chance to bless them.

Bless those that have no homes because of the tsunami.  Let them find shelter and peace.  Help them to find food and clothing as well.  Thank you for those people that have chosen to bless them.  Let more and more people give and enjoy the blessings of giving.

Thank you for the needy.  Thank you for the way that You supply for them.  Thank you for the way that we see your power and provision because we don't have much.  We are thankful for the little things and the little things are big things because we know they are from You.  Praise You for being good and faithful.

Increase our faith in You and our love for You!  Lift us up and lift our eyes to You.  Remove our worries, our fears, and our pains.  Replace them with your peace that passes all understanding.

Give us great wisdom.  Let us be smart and wise as You would be.  Thank you for giving us the perfect example in Jesus Christ.

Thank you for accepting and loving us even though we are not perfect.  Thank you for loving us despite our shortcomings.  Help us to repent from our sins and become like You.  Help us to avoid treading on your grace.

Thank you that I was able to attend the science meeting, tonight.  Thank you for the information I was given about creation and evolution.  Praise You for giving nearly half of the scientists in the United States the wisdom to declare there is a Creator!  I pray that these numbers continue to increase.  I also pray that intelligent design continues to permeate the classrooms because You are real.

Bless those that reject You.  Bless those that are enemies of Christ.  Help them to see your love for them.  Help them to understand that You do exist and that You created all things.

Thank you for the awesome examples of people who hated God, but repented and got saved.  Thank you for the people who set out to disprove your existence, only to find that You do exist!  You are an awesome God.

Thank you for your Word.  Thank you that the Bible is a book without error!  You are a supernatural author and there is none other like You.  Thank you for helping me find the answers to the tough questions about the Bible.  Now, I have an answer for every, alleged Bible error.

Thank you that I live in San Diego.  Bless my city.  Help people here to get saved and follow You.  Help them also to drive the speed limit because that is the law.  Keep people safe on the freeway.

Bless the sex offenders in San Diego.  I pray that they are encouraged when they read my letter to them.  I also pray that they repent, get saved, and begin seeking You with all their heart.  Help them to see You as You are; a loving God that wants them to repent and trust You.

Help all of our letters to reach the sex offenders.  Let them read them from beginning to end.  Help them to pray to You at that point and get saved.  Thank you for the chance to contact them with a message of love and some listings for Christian radio stations and churches in San Diego county.  Help them to attend.

I love You, Lord.  Thank you for everything You are doing through Christians.  Continue to bless us and our ministries.  Let us take heart and not grow weary as we work for You and do your will.  Help us to bless more and more people with your great news.

To You be all the glory, honor, and praise; forever and ever.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 3 - Dear Lord, thanks for this day.  Thanks for my daughter Jordan.  Thank you for her personality and the way she has been growing.  Bless her.  Help her to continue to grow and be a healthy child.

Thanks for the great responsibility of being a parent.  Help me to be a great father to her.  Help me to be consistent and honest.  Thank you for giving me Jesus' character as a role model.

Bless Sarine.  Help her to be a great mother.  Let them get along well and help Jordan to listen to her and obey.

Bless Sarine's child care job.  Let her find joy in it and help her to bless the kids and families.

Lift me up and minister to me right now.  Remove my worries and my fears.  Give me great peace.

Increase my faith in You.  Increase my love for You and for others.  You are my God and my everything.  I love You more than all.

Praise You for being good.  Praise You for being worthy of my praise and devotion.  You are my everything.

Give me more of your mercy and grace.  Let me have patience with those that try my patience.  Let me speak your words of truth, wisdom, and love.  Give me your heart and your eyes.

Thank you for my Christian friends.  Bless them.  Let them see You more clearly.

Thank you for my football team.  Let us abstain from injury and have a great season.  Help us to join together as friends and co-laborers in Christ.  Let us make some fun plays and plans, tomorrow.

Thank you for my Thunderbird.  Bless it and help it to continue to run well.  Thank you that I can drive.  Thank you for the great release of driving and singing praise to You.

Thank you for Caedmon's Call.  Thank you that they are great musicians who sing about interesting things.  Thank you for the way they take me away to a different place.  Bless them.  Help them to continue having success and to continue putting out great music.  Bless their efforts in Ecuador and India.

Thank you for the kids I support in Kenya.  Bless them and help them to grow into strong, Christian adults.  Thank you for the chance to contact them and to know them.  Help others to bless needy people in other countries.  Let us understand how needy people are.

Bless those that are being effected by the tsunami.  Help them find shelter and food.  Help them to stay clear of disease and remain healthy.  Let them find You in the midst of their troubles and have hope and peace.

Praise You for being the Rock of Ages.  Thank you for being a personal God who is always there for everyone.  Let the hurting and hopeless turn to You and find what they need.

Bless my arm.  Help it to feel better and better.  Remove the slight numbness that comes and goes.  Help me to determine whether or not I should see another doctor or consider surgery.  Please don't let it effect my activities or my future.

Bless those that have serious illnesses and injuries.  Let them be comforted and healed.  Help them to seek You for what they need.  Praise You for always giving us the mighty, intangible qualities that we need.

Bless all of those that are fasting with me.  Help them to see You and be comforted.  Let them have a vision for their life and their ministry.  Thank you for the bold Christians who have joined me on this quest for You.  Praise You.

Thank you that I have papers to write for school.  I pray that I do a great job on them and get A's.  Thank you that I could research the ancient civilization of Ur, today.  Teach me about them and help me to articulate everything in my report.

Thank you for LBU and all I have learned through that institution.  Bless them.  Help me to either fly or drive there in 2006, so I can join them for my graduation.  Help me to graduate on time by fulfilling all of the requirements and paying my tuition in full.  Thank you for blessing me now with a plan and the means to do it.

Thank you for my parents.  Bless them and keep them healthy and safe.  Give them long lives on the Earth.  Thank you for their friendship and love.  Thank you that they are believers in You, Lord.  Thank you that they attend a solid church and thanks for having them send me there since I was a little kid.

Let my recording go well, tonight.  Help me to record a fantastic version of "God Bless America."  Thank you for my guitars and my recording equipment.  Help me to keep good care of everything and help it to last a long time.

Let my music bless others.  Thank you for the talents and gifts You have given me.  Let me hone and improve them, so I can praise You better and bless others more.

Thank you for Kat and the way she has been learning.  Bless her and increase her skills.  Let her have a vision for her guitar playing.  Show her where she needs to plug in and when she needs to play with others or in front of others.

Thank you for recharging my batteries!  Thank you for lifting me up and letting me feel your presence.  Praise You for giving me and all believers your Holy Spirit.  Let us be sensitive to You and your promptings.  Help us to listen and obey.

Day 4 - Dear Lord, bless me and my family.  Keep us strong and safe.

Thank you for this fast.  Thank you that it is going very well.  Help me to avoid the foods that I shouldn't be eating.  Thank you for the many choices that I do have.  Help me to remember to take some of them with me, so I can eat them after work or in the car instead of having to wait until I get home.

Thank you that I had a good workout, today.  I pray that I can continue doing my workouts throughout my fast.  Help me to have plenty of strength and energy.

Thank you for the way that You have been faithful to me.  Praise You for being everywhere at once.  Remind me that You are always near.

Thank you for my chiropractor and how he has helped my spine.  Bless him and his business.  Thank you for his kindness toward me and others.  Help me to continue going regularly.  Thank you that my lower back pain is gone.  Help my upper neck stiffness to go away and stay away.

Thank you for all the stretching that I've been doing.  Let me continue to stretch and get more flexible.  Thank you that my arm and shoulder are feeling better.

Bless my vision.  Help me to continue to have excellent vision and not need glasses.  Don't let me get any eyestrain headaches from working on the computer or from anything else.  Thank you for caring about my health and being powerful enough to do something about it.

Thank you for the guys on my football team and thank you that I was able to meet them, tonight.  Thank you that many of them are musicians.  Bless us this season.  Let us have a successful, winning season.

Let me meet the football guys for some jam sessions.  Increase our skills and let us come together to praise You.  Thank you for being worthy of our praise and devotion.

I pray that my CD burner will begin working, again.  Thank you for the good years I got from it.  Cause it to work again, so I don't have to buy another one.

Thank you for my guitars.  Thank you that I'm very content with them and don't need another for some time.  Thanks for my acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and electric guitar.  Let me continue to practice, plan my students' lessons, and enjoy those instruments.

Thank you that I have the opportunity to record a song for the Padres.  I hope they choose it for their 2005 song.  Let me perfect it and lay down the tracks without any mistakes.  Help me to put a Latin touch on it as they want.

Thank you for the unbelievers on usenet.  Bless them and give them hope in You.  Let them see their sins as You see them and repent.  Help them to read your Word and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation.

Thank you for blessing JCSM!  Thank you for its awesome growth and reach.  Let us continue to reach more people on the internet.  Thank you for all of our web pages.  Help me to continue creating more and more pages that will help people.

Day 5 - Dear Lord,

Thank you that today was a good day.  Thank you for my guitar lesson and how Gabby is growing as a musician.  Bless her and help her to continue practicing and having fun with the guitar.  Thank you for her interest and the skills you have blessed her with.

Thank you that I've been able to write some papers for school, lately.  Help me to finish writing my seven, remaining papers, soon.  Thank you for the books that I have that can be used as resources.  Thank you for my personal library.

Let me have discipline to finish my current course, soon.  Help me to do well on the final exam.  Thank you for blessing me a lot this far.

Thank you for the courses I proposed to LBU.  I pray that they accept them and that I do a great job on them.  Thank you for my academic advisor and his wisdom and kindness.  Bless him and his family.

Thank you for the trip we are planning to Louisiana.  I pray that it comes to fruition and that we have a great time as we drive or fly across the country.  Let us save up and enjoy the vacation.

Thank you for Jordan.  Thank you for how she is growing.  Let us enjoy this age of her life and help us to soak it in slowly because it will never come again.

Thank you that we live in a beautiful city and in a safe area.  Let us stay here, so we can enjoy it and so that Jordan can be raised in a good environment.  Thank you for her purity and innocence.  I pray that she stays pure and close to You.  Thank you for the way she prays to You and talks about You.

Bless my parents.  Keep them strong and safe.  Thank you for their loving influence.

I pray that the song I record tonight goes very well.  Help me to pick a good one and play it and sing it well.  Let it bless others.  Thank you for all of my equipment and my skills.  Please increase my talents, so I can bless You and others more and more.

Thank you for this warm fire.  Thank you for a fireplace and the wood that we have.  Thank you for the wisdom to get both pine and oak.  Let our wood last throughout the winter and even through the spring and summer months in case we want to have a fire here or a bonfire.

Thank you for our vehicles.  I pray that they continue to run without problems.  Help the regular repairs and things to fix themselves without us having to pay for them.  Thank you for the way You sustain us and all things.

Thank you for science and this universe.  Thank you for those that are extremely intelligent and proclaim that You exist!  Thank you for the intelligent design proponents.  Let them be successful and continue to learn and study and provide us with awesome truths.

Bless my enemies.  Bless those that hate me and want to kill me.  Let them find You.  Let them see that I love You and them and only want people to get saved.  Thank you for being real to me.

Praise You for your faithfulness!  There is no other God like You.  Praise You for your mercy and grace.  You are indeed loving and good.

Thank you for forgiving sins; even the worst ones.  Thank you for not holding grudges.  Let us learn from You and be like You.

Thank for the ability to forgive and forget.  Let me continue to do this over and over, so I can be free.  Praise You for giving us real freedom.

Thank you for this journal.  I pray that my prayers bless You and that this online journal will encourage people to fast and to pray to You.  Thank you for the great times of prayer that I'm having as I get away from everything and have prayer time with You.

Day 6 - Dear Lord,

Thank you for blessing me, today.  Thank you for keeping me safe as I drove around San Diego, taught a guitar lesson, and worked out at the gym.

Thank you for Mikey and how he has grown as a musician.  Thank you that he got an electric guitar for Christmas.  Bless him and increase his talents.  Help him to continue playing, writing music, and getting better and better.

Thank you for the chance to have an exciting student like Mikey.  I pray that you bless him a lot and make him very successful with the guitar.  Give him a vision for his playing and show him when and where He should plug in.

Thank you that I was able to get in a good workout.  Thank you that my gym membership is prepaid for several months.  Let me continue to go and get into better shape.

Thank you for my football game, tomorrow.  I pray that it goes well.  Help me not to feel the effects of fasting as I run around the field.  Increase my skills and give me endurance.  Remind me to call to You when I'm feeling weak or weary.

Thank you for my teammates.  Help us to all get along.  Don't let us get into any arguments or anything.  Let us all be on the same page.

Thank you that I get to give the pre-game devotion, tomorrow.  Let it be encouraging to the guys.  Thank you for the awesome scriptures in Isaiah 40:28-30.  Praise You for being a ready help in times of trouble or need.  Thank you for helping us to fly like eagles.

Thank you for the music I'm hearing, again.  Thank you that it always sounds good!  I don't know how, but it does.

Thank you that I was able to record "Forever Faithful," tonight.  Thank you that my voice sounded better after it warmed up.  Remind me of this and help me to remember to warm it up before doing future recordings and performances.

Increase my talents and skills with singing and playing the guitar.  Give me interesting lessons for my students and fantastic songs to teach them.  Help me to meet them where they are and take them where You want them to be.

Thank you for JCSM.  Thank you for how it is a blessing to many.  Thank you that I get lots of emails every day from people who visit.  Let me answer them in love and encourage them, again.

Thank you for those that bless JCSM.  Thank you for all of the people who have donated.  Bless them and their families.  Let them know that they are loved and appreciated.

Bless those tsunami victims.  Help them get their lives back together.  Help them find their missing loved ones and rebuild their homes.  Thank you that this didn't happen to my home and to my city.

Praise You for being mighty and powerful.  Let the world understand that we are all sinners who can only be saved by your grace.  We do not deserve anything because we are not perfect and holy like You.  We are thankful for your grace and mercy, though.

Let people discover the reasons behind tragedies and blessings.  Let them seek You and try and see them through your eyes.  Praise You for giving spiritual insight to the ones who seek it through You and your Word.

Thank you for your Holy Spirit that You have given to indwell us as we live on Earth!  Thank you that we can be comforted any time with it.  Teach us about You and the functions of your Spirit.

Thank you for this fast and thank you that it is going very well.  Help me to avoid eating anything but vegetables and fruits.  Thank you for the wide variety of those foods that we have in San Diego.  Thank you that I've had a few different ones that I don't ordinarily have.

Thank you for the football on TV, tomorrow.  Let me relax and enjoy the games.  Thank you that I get to see them without my usual helping of cheeseburgers, chips, and salsa.  Let me enjoy what I can have, though.

Bless all that attend the games.  Keep them safe.  Keep terrorists away from the stadiums.

Thank you for sports and how they are interesting.  Thank you for giving San Diego a very good football team this year.  I pray that we have a great team next year.  Thank you that I was able to go and see a couple of games this year.

Bless Earl.  Thank you for his generosity.  Thank you that he always invites us to his tailgate parties, feeds us like royalty, and never lets us bring anything!  Thank you for the awesome variety of foods that he has prepared.

Let Earl open a restaurant and be the cook.  Thank you for his cooking skills.  Give him wisdom since he left his last job and considers what to do next.

Thank you that we have the bills paid and a little money in the bank.  Praise You that we don't have to wonder where our next meal will come from.  Thank you for those that have blessed us.

Bless Jordan and Sarine.  Give them a safe trip to Pasadena, tomorrow.  Help them to obey the speed laws and avoid getting any tickets.  Let them have fun with my in-laws.

Thank you for the blessing that they are.  Thank you for Jordan and her sweetness.  Keep her pure and help her to learn to obey us, when we ask, with a happy on her face.

Help her to become potty trained.  Let her see the benefit in it and learn it, now.  Thank you that she is very smart and getting smarter every day.

Thank you for the friend that she is and let her enjoy her youth.  Help her to find some sports that she will enjoy.  If it's your will, let me coach her soccer.

Day 7 - Dear Lord,

Thank you for being good and faithful.  Thank you for being a blessing to me and countless others.

Thank you that NBC just aired a tsunami relief concert and telethon.  Help people to join in giving, so the victims can be blessed.  Let them victims find Jesus Christ through their pain and suffering.  Help them to know He is real.

Please make my back feel better.  Thank you for the massager that we have that has helped it.  Help my hand to feel better as well.

Give me wisdom to decide whether or not I should continue playing football this season.  Thank you for my team and thanks for the way we lost, today.  Thank you for the guys on my team.

Bless Jason Stone.  Help him to see his pride and how his attitude effects the team in a negative way.  Let him avoid picking fights and causing division.

Thank you that I finally get to rest and sleep, soon.  Ease my back pain up until then.  Thank you that my stretching is virtually finished.  Help me to record a great, instrumental song, tonight.

Thank you for this massaging pad Sarine just brought in.  I pray that it works well.

Thank you for your Word.  There is no other book like it on Earth!  Thank you for giving us the inerrant scriptures.  Let people understand that You are perfect and your Word to us is as well.

Thank you for preparing me for discussion board ministry.  Let me get prayed up and completely prepared before I begin returning to discussion boards.  Thank you for the access to this sort of ministry.  Let me go to those boards and be a light.  Thank you for blessing me with the truth of your Word.  Help me find others that believe as well.

Heal up my aching muscles in my legs.  Let me feel well rested, tomorrow.  Let me be ready to do my workouts next week.

Thank you for my schedule.  Thank you for the jobs that You have set before me.  Let me do them to the best of my ability.

Thank you that the shop was able to fix my car, today.  Bless them.  Help nothing more to go wrong with it.  Thank you for giving me a nice vehicle that runs.  Let the slipping stop and help me to avoid having to replace or repair the transmission.

Bless my parents.  I pray that they have a great weekend.  Bless my in-laws as well.  Thank you that even with our low income, we were able to give everyone Christmas gifts.  Continue to bless us, so we can bless others.

Thank you for my wife and thanks that she is fasting with me.  Bless her fast.  Keep us both strong and safe.  Thank you that she has decided to spend extra time in prayer each morning.  Help her to be faithful.

Thank you that I was able to sell my van the other day.  Bless the guy who bought it.  Help him to fix it up and get it to run well.  I pray that the cash he gave me for it is legitimate and not counterfeit.

Thank you that we were able to repair or laptop and get it in good, working condition, again.  I pray that it stays that way.  Help it to be a very useful tool for years to come.  Help us to find an inexpensive battery for it, so we can use it away from a wall jack.

Thank you for these times of prayer.  Thank you that I can stop everything I'm doing and seek You.  Help me to always do this.

Bless the unsaved and let them know about You.  Help your presence and truth to be so obvious to them that they have to willfully reject You and choose lies if they so desire.  Help your reality to be so real to them that if they do not trust You, they will be held accountable on judgment day.

Thank you for your justice.  Thank you for the ones that hate and offend me, today and thanks how You have promised to deal with them, later.  Help me to leave it to you and be content with your eternal justice.  Give patience to those that feel like taking vengeance on evildoers.

Day 8 - Dear Lord,

Thank you for today.  Thank you that today was Sunday.  Thank you that today was the 8th day of my fast.

Bless me.  Lift me up and strengthen me.  Help me to avoid meats, sugars, grains, and all the other foods besides fruits and vegetables.

Heal my back.  Thank you for the pain I felt today and the way I couldn't do anything about it.  Thank you for the medicine I was able to take.  I pray that it is totally healed very soon.

Thank you for the holiday, tomorrow.  Bless my guitar lesson.  Let Jimi have a lot of fun and help him to continue to grow as a musician.

Help me to finish the devotions either tonight or tomorrow.  Help me to be able to sit in my chair for awhile without my back hurting.  Let the people who receive, read, and hear the devotions be encouraged.

Thank you for those that are reading my journal only to hurt me and use it against me.  Bless them.  Let them find You.

Thank you for the talents and gifts You have given me.  Thank you for the ability to write music quickly and sing.  Increase my talents, Lord.  Bless my students too and increase their talents.

Thank you that a new student contacted me, today.  Let me speak to him tomorrow and set up some lessons.  Thank you that people want to learn worship songs to praise You!  Thank you that I live in a country with millions of Christians.  Thank you that I live in a large town with many opportunities to bless You and others.

Thank you that the day is done.  Thank you for all the blessings that today brought.  You are a great God.

Thank you that I could visit the chiropractor and have him adjust my back.  Thank you that I've been able to use his services for a couple years.  Bless him and his work.  Let him have enough clients to have a successful business.

Thank you that my back is feeling better.  Help this injury to heal completely very soon.  Thank you that I've been able to rest it.

Thank you that I had a great workout, today.  Help me to continue going to the gym 4 or 5 times every week.  Thank you that it is a habit of mine.

Thank you for my cell phone.  Thanks for the wisdom to use one and not reject it even though I thought it was weird at first.  Thanks for my Dad who blessed me with it and blesses me with plenty of minutes every month.  Bless him and let him know that He is appreciated.

Bless Ray Waldron.  Bless him as he spends either several decades or the rest of his life in jail.  Bless his family and his child that will be born, soon.  Bless his girlfriend.

Day 18 - Dear Lord,

Bless me.  Lift me up and give me comfort and rest.  Thank you for being faithful to me.

Thank you that this fast is going well.  Thank you for easing my suffering.  You are a good God.  Thank you for all that You have taught me.

Give me joy, love, patience, self-control, and love.  I want to have your qualities, Lord.  Thank you for giving us Jesus and showing us how He acted in all situations by the accounts in the Bible.  Let me trust You more and put all of my faith in You.

Thank you for the new files I got for the Study Center, today.  Thank you how I can add over 7,500 new files, soon!  Let me have a passion to engineer them and get them online.  Thank you for the nearly 3,000 files I uploaded the other day.  Let these resources be huge blessings to people.  Help them to become popular and ranked highly in the search engines.

Thank you for the great, public domain information that is available to me.  Thank you for the software that I have that helps me acquire it and format it.  Help me to make time to do this.  Thank you for how this could make our total file count over 80,000 web pages.

Thank you that I'm finished with my stretching and my recording.  Thank you for the instrumental song I recorded, tonight.  Bless my talents and help me to play better and better.  Thank you that I can record things and either keep them privately or share them with many others.  Give me wisdom and discernment, so I can decide what to do with this song and all the others.

Thank you for my potential, new guitar student.  Thank you for how he has kept in touch and is getting a guitar, soon.  Bless him and help me to teach him all that I know.  Please let him live nearby, so I don't have to drive too far.

Thank you that I teach Gabby, tomorrow.  Bless her.  Let her continue to grow as a musician.  Thank you that she is starting out so young.  Let me find songs, exercises, and riffs that interest and challenge her.  Let me find things that are at her level.

Thank you that I only have three more days left in this fast.  Thank you that I can begin eating dairy and meats and all other foods on Sunday.  Show me what to eat and what to avoid.  Thank you that I've already decided to limit sweets to 100 calories or less per day.  Help me to avoid them altogether most days.

Help me to avoid white breads and crackers and all other white flour products.  Instead, help me to find whole wheat breads, tortillas, and crackers.  Give me a taste for them and help me to avoid those flours that do nothing positive for me or my body.  Thank you for revealing this to me.  Even though it will be difficult, help me to put this idea into action and stick to it.

Protect this house.  Don't let anyone break in or harm me or my family.  Keep thieves and evil people out.  Thank you for the security system that we have here.

Thank you that I can use the laptop for ministry endeavors.  Help me to install GPS and begin submitting lots and lots of web pages to search engines.  Thank you for the software and the time and ability to do this.  Thank you that I've already submitted hundreds of pages.

Thank you that JCSM is ranked about 80,000 in the world.  Thank you for this number and how it has improved a lot in the last year.  Keep showing me what I should do to bless others through JCSM.

Thank you that it didn't rain too much, today.  Thank you that it rained far less than the forecast predicted.  Keep me and others safe on the roads.  Let me have a good day tomorrow as I teach a lesson, go to the chiropractor, visit the grocery store, then workout at the gym.  Thank you that I have an interesting schedule.

Show me if I should get new speakers for the Thunderbird.  Thank you for the CD player and the sound system I have.  Show me if it would be easy and inexpensive to replace the existing speakers.  If I do decide to get new ones, help me to take the door panels on and off without damaging them or the car.

Thank you for caring about the little details in my life.  Thank you for being faithful and for listening to me.  There is no other God like You.  I've cultivated this relationship with You for many years and it's very valuable to me.  You are my great God and my friend; my Lord and my Savior.  I lift You up high and my songs are for You because I love You.

Thank you for my cats.  Bless them.  Keep them safe and help them not to die prematurely.  Thank you for the way they are low maintenance animals.  Help us to remember to keep giving them water and food and changing their cat pan.  Thank you for their warmth and affection and soft fur.  Help Jordan to be nice to them and to avoid pulling their tails.

Increase my faith in You.  I want to seek your will for my life.  Let me trust You more than ever before.  Talk to me and show me where I should walk and what I should do.  Thank you, Lord.

Praise You for being perfect.  Thank you for taking a sinner like me and loving me.  Forgive my sins, Lord.  Wash me clean, again.  Thank you for forgiving me and loving me more than I understand.  Help me to forgive and love like You do.

Thank you for your Word!  Thank you for giving us an awesome source of truth.  Let me continue to read it and memorize it.  I want to know more about You and your will.  Let me also continue to put music to scriptures, so Katerina can learn them.  I enjoy doing this and it's fun and interesting.  I'm walking the path that so many people have walked before me.

Thank you for today.  Thank you that I was able to get a lot of work done.  Thank you for the 7,500 files that I have that I'm configuring.

Thank you for Gabby and her family and thank you that they had to cancel, today.  Bless them and help them to feel better, soon.  Protect my family from catching a cold and heal Jordan.  Let her overcome her cold and feel better, soon.

Thank you for the new student who begins lessons tomorrow.  Bless Oscar.  Let us have fun as I teach him how to play the guitar.  Remind him to bring a notebook, so I can write notes in it for him.

Thank you that I have completed my stretching.  Thank you that I still have my song to play and record.  Bless that endeavor.  Praise You for the inspiration You gave me as I was at the beach, tonight.  Let me play the new song I wrote.

Thank you that I was able to submit nearly 30 of JCSM's web pages to 775+ search engines and links pages.  I pray that it makes a big difference and that the traffic increases.  Thank you for this laptop and how I can have it do search engine submission as I do other work on the desktop.  Let me continue to utilize both tools for your glory.

Keep the atheists and unbelieving evolutionists out of power.  Protect this country from their evil influence.  Let people see through their lies and believe the truth.

Thank you that we have food in the refrigerator and a roof over our heads.  Thank you for providing for us and thank you for giving us far more than we actually need.  Help us to be content.  We cannot be anything else with all of these wonderful things like food, shelter, clothing, and a nice place to live.  Give us success in all things and help us not to worry.

Let us fight worry with prayer and with the scriptures.  The Devil tries to steal the little moments from us because He knows that He has lost the war.  I pray that I stay mindful of You and your promises and shun the Devil's lies and deception.
