Psalm 28:7, 8 "The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. The LORD is the refuge of His people, their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed."
Psalm 31:1-3 "In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me."
Insight: Who is your refuge? What is your refuge? Seek God and let Him be your refuge. There is no other like Him. He is always there and waiting for You. Only God is faithful 100% of the time.
Prayer: "Dear Lord, bless us. Let us remember your faithfulness. Forgive us for going our own way. Give us godliness and power. Remove our fears and worry. Let us sit still and hear your voice. Thank you for never being silent. Praise You for being good and powerful. There is no other like You. Let us be like You. Increase our love for You and others and increase our faith in You. No, God wasn't fooled. In fact, Jacob receives quite a punishment for this when he learns the patience he would not learn here. He had to work fourteen years for the wife of his choice.

To use what I’ve written in the most beneficial way, try and trace them back to the scriptures and apply the true principles to your life in a meaningful way! I'm sorry, but some of them are English metaphors and deal with multiple word meanings. God bless you all!
