"Are You A King?" - #348
Hello!
I hope you had a great weekend.
"The Collegiate Workbook" that accompanies my book on CD-ROM has been completed and published! Did you have a chance to see "The Passion" movie, yet? I saw it on Thursday and it was awesome. It was stunning to see the sufferings of Christ and the film made me thank Jesus for His sacrifice for my sins. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend it.
I just looked at the stats from our jcsm.org domain and noticed something interesting. We have a page in our Study Center that is actually in the BELIEVE Religious Resource and it mentions a woman named Veronica and the legend surrounding her. Our stats showed how this page was in the top 10 pages viewed, today.
What does this mean?
Well, in the film called "The Passion," there was a woman who wiped Jesus' face with a cloth while He was stumbling with the cross. Most people will never know who she was or who Mel Gibson intended her to be. Nonetheless, this woman was "Saint" Veronica and a person in Catholic legend who did a variety of things such as a miracle with that cloth. Jesus Christ. Prayer: "Thank you for being our king, Lord Jesus. Thank
you for being the best king. Help us to see You as You are. Forgive
the earthly kings that are foolish. Help sinners to repent and seek You.
Help us to see ourselves as we really are; sinners in need of a Savior.
Praise You for being good and patient. Let us be like You, now. Let
us see our sins as You see them and try our very best to live Christ-like lives.
Thank you for loving us more than we know. We are your humble servants

and Explained "The Skeptic's Annotated Bible" claims: Genesis 7:17 - This verse says the flood lasted for 40 days, but 7:24 and 8:3 say
150 days. "The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained"
responds: This verse says the flood
lasted forty days. Genesis 7:24 and Genesis 8:3 say the waters "prevailed
