This is the Weekly Devotional Message from
Hello!
I hope you are having a great day.
This week, I'll be interviewing museum owner and curator Joe Taylor. He has a large museum in Texas with numerous, awesome fossils. He is a creationist and has went on digs with Carl Baugh and others. This, exclusive interview will be aired live from http://iii.jcsm.org on Wednesday, at 7pm PST. Here is the link to his museum: http://mtblanco.com.
My campaign trip to Modesto was great. I met some awesome people and had a lot of fun. This week, I'll be speaking to a group of medical researches in Los Angeles. Please pray it goes well. Plus, my television ads will begin airing this Saturday to over 2 million people in the Los Angeles area. Please pray they catch my vision, understand my foundational, Christian beliefs and support my campaign for California's Governor. Here is my campaign site: http://jasongastrich.com.
Are you read to support Mel Gibson's movie? "The Passion" will only be released in select theaters across America. However, if you go to the following site, enter your name and Zip code, the distributor may decide to release the movie in more theaters. It is free and quick to support the movie in this way. Link: http://www.passion-movie.com/english/support2.html.
I hope and pray that you are very blessed this week. Stay close to Him and your life will be supernatural.
On Tuesday, one of my favorite bands is releasing a new album. "The Rock N Roll Worship Circus" is definitely worth a listen. With their Christ-centered lyrics and dreamy, yet tight guitar licks, their first album was a huge hit. Here is their site: http://worshipcircus.com.

Joel 2:21 "Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the LORD has done marvelous things!"
Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed,
for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous
right hand.’"
2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
Insight: God wants us to be strong and reliable. If you aren't strong, ask Him for courage and strength. Ask Him to remove your fears. Since God's Holy Spirit is inside of you, there is no reason to fear people or the things of this world.
Prayer: "Thank you for being good. Thank you for wanting us to be strong and courageous. Bless us and lift us up. Remove our fears and worries, Lord. Thank you for wanting us to be successful and not worried about the people and things of this world. Remind us that your Holy Spirit is within us. Remind us that You are faithful. Praise You for being such an awesome God. Help us to stand up for what is right and shun what is evil. Forgive us for our sins. We need You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) was our 3rd President and a signer of the Declaration of Independence
"We hold these truths to be self-evidence, that all men are created equal. That they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights . . ." - The Declaration of Independence
"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever." - Query XVII, Notes on the State of Virginia (excerpts of those statements are on the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C.)
"No power over the freedom of religion . . . (is) delegated to the United States by the Constitution." - The Kentucky Resolution, 1798
"The Christian religion, when divested of the rags in which they (the clergy) have enveloped it, and brought to the original purity and simplicity of its benevolent institutor, is a religion of all others most friendly to liberty, science, and the freest expansion of the human mind." - A letter to Moses Robinson, March 23, 1801
"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with solemn reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation of Church and State." - A letter to the Danbury Baptists, January 1, 1802
If we are growing spiritually, doesn't it mean that we are always needing more of God?
Make time to pray.
magos (Greek): wise - a Magian, that is Oriental scientist, by implication a sorcerer or wise man
The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained
"The Skeptic's Annotated Bible" claims:
Genesis 4:4 - This verse tells us that God "had respect unto Abel," but this contradicts many Bible passages that claim that God doesn't respect anyone.
"The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained" responds:
* God is not a respect of persons - which means earthly titles or wealth do not impress Him. Abel's obedience pleased God.
(This explanation came from "The Skeptic's Annotated Bible: Corrected and Explained", by Jason Gastrich. This book is on CD and explains over 3,000 difficulties regarding the entire Bible at http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.org.)
We're not in this world to be afraid.
Prayer was a primary, spiritual discipline for Jesus.
If we are growing spiritually, doesn't it mean that we are always needing more of God?
Make time to pray.
When is the last time you talked to someone? When is the last time you talked to God?
Take 7 minutes of prayer each morning and/or evening.
Prayer isn't just for church, meals, and bedtime.
Have set times for prayer and pray spontaneously.
We need to pray in the good and bad times.
Why don't we pray more?
Jesus prayed when He was busy, broken-hearted, in spiritual battles, and when He was blessed.
These quotes came from God, me, and Mike Geoghegan.
Do you need more quotes? We have thousands in our archives! They are located here: http://quotes.jcsm.org.
These quotes can be used for sanctification and fun. Most of them are directly based on scripture and scriptural principles. Some of the quotes are humorous or rhetorical, others are written from sermons and Bible studies, and some are lyrics from songs. If you’d like me to go into more detail on any of them, please email me.
Like most verses in the Bible, they can be debated. To use what I’ve written in the most beneficial way, try and trace them back to the scriptures and apply the true principles to your life in a meaningful way! Please don’t sell my quotes or publish them for profit. If English is not your first language, you may not understand some of the quotes. I'm sorry, but some of them are English metaphors and deal with multiple word meanings. God bless you all!
Please make a commitment to pray for this ministry. As every believer is tempted and tried, this ministry faces trials also. God has blessed me, JCSM and the people who have been reached! Unfortunately, the enemy knows this and spiritual warfare is the result. Please at least pray that the devotions continue to be written religiously, the web pages stay on the www and the readers are blessed, sanctified and protected from evil. Thank you very much in advance!
Do you want to help people receive the good news? We’re reaching new people every day with God’s awesome Word! If God has blessed you and you wish to send a love offering to JCSM, please send your gift to the address below.
You can join our vision and help this ministry! Your donations will keep these ministries running and further our visions for evangelism. Hundreds of web pages have been created to lead people to the Lord. Frequently, we make new ones and they are used to bring more and more people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. We’re certain there will be more ways to reach people in the future.

Along with getting support, we also give support! JCSM regularly gives to churches, Christian ministries and needy people. Another function of this ministry is to do counseling. We are always answering questions about life, the Lord and everything in between. Lastly, we do a lot of research on religious topics on the internet and library. You will definitely see the results of our hard work and your loving support, in the web pages, and in the weekly devotions!
