Biography
John D. Morris (born in 1946) is a young earth creationist. He is the
son of "the father of creation science", Henry M. Morris, and the president of
the Institute for Creation Research (ICR).
Morris has a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Geological
Engineering. From 1978-1980, he was a research assistant and from 1980-1984, he
was an assistant professor of Geological Engineering at the University of
Oklahoma.
Morris speaks at a variety of churches and venues across America, such as the
Steeling the Mind Bible Conferences. He has also
authored a number of books. In addition to his other duties, Morris is a
professor of Earth Science and Apologetics at San Diego Christian College.
